Hi Uncle Cookie,

We had a great time in Vegas! The whole family dominated at the tables and collectively walked away a few thousand in front. Not a bad effort. We’re all considering quitting our day jobs to become professional gamblers. Photography…what?

In true Vegas style we drank Margaritas for breakfast and dad collected calling cards for prostitutes…ranking them from highest to lowest…congratulations to Sandy for scoring the number one spot. Dream big Sandy!

We saw the New Year in on the strip surrounded by thousands of other drunken hooligans. Our ‘2014’ glasses were pure genius (my idea) and people kept stopping to take photos of/with us. I am used to this kind of attention but for dad it was a novelty. Every time I turned around, he was shaking hands with someone else. I’m pretty sure people thought he was running for mayor.

Other highlights included the Cirque Du Soleil show ‘LOVE’, my lucky streak at roulette, (six wins in a row –thank you gambling gods!) and playing Black Jack with my family. Also – the drunken floozy hitching a ride on the cripple’s wheelchair was pretty epic too.

At the end of the night…we were heading up to our rooms when dad decided to have one last bet…$25 on no.27 at Roulette. The wheel turned, I prayed to the Vegas gods and bugger me if he didn’t win – a sweet $950 to round out the night. I was overly excited but dad was just relieved it helped pay for the dinner we almost needed to mortgage the house to pay.

Anyhow…I will fill you in on the rest of the debauchery when I see you in Singapore.

The family that parties together stays together.
