Mum was a Gypsy

Really lovely post. You made me cry. What a brilliant trip to be able to remember your mum by. She sounds like quite a woman and I’m sure she’d be thrilled to see her adventurous spirit alive and well in you.

Gorgeous, bittersweet, wonderful, thanks Kirra

Beautiful post and pictures Kirra, thanks for sharing xxx

Thanks Kirra… My wife and I took a few moments yesterday to reflect on the passing of her mother 15 years to the day forvthevsamecthing. I have tears in my eyes.

Your mother looked to be a remarkable woman, I am glad you got the chance to travel.

Having only recently learning about Living in the comment (at 39) itvisvsomethingvintrybto embrace every day.

Your blog inspires me, this post in particular…

Sorry for the typos… Iphone!!!

This is above words, beyond inspiring, and ‘special’ doesn’t even begin to cover it. You two gorgeous souls. Hats off to your mum for having lived such a happy life and raising her daughter to follow in the footsteps of that happiness.

Amazing Kirra.

I love that last photo of her by the sea plane, you’ve captured her spirit, and she looks super foxy!

She would be so happy with everything you’re doing right now. Keeping on the gypsy tradition.

I made a comment previously from my phone but it didn’t post. Kirra this is so gorgeous. So wonderful to see your Mum like this as I’ve really only ever heard stories. Such awesome stories! Feels like she’s been brought to life for me. A beautiful, heart felt, honest sharing clearly appreciated by your readers.
Much love to you and your Mum.
