Fear & Freedom
A well travelled friend once told me that it was the combination of fear and freedom that makes travel so addictive. A healthy dose of fear to know you are really alive and enough freedom to find your own journey.
I am currently waiting on my visa for New York and living in limbo, a space I find frustrating. So I did what I do best. I packed up, said goodbye to Byron Bay (my home for the past two years) and hit the road, camera in hand.
Being on the move again filled me with total euphoria. Having my life in a suitcase makes me feel free and a lack of definite plans fills me with a certain amount of fear. This is when I am at my happiest.
